From May 19–21, 2026, Canada showcased its world-class agri-food sector at Expo ANTAD in Guadalajara, Mexico, the country's largest retail and foodservice trade show.
The Canada Pavilion featured a record 47 Canadian exhibitors from across the country, highlighting the quality, innovation, and diversity of Canadian food and beverage products. Organized by the Embassy of Canada in Mexico in partnership with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Groupe Export, the Canadian Food Exporters Association, and provincial partners, the pavilion connected Canadian exporters with key buyers from across Mexico.
The event's tailored business-to-business (B2B) program facilitated 449 meetings between Canadian companies and Mexican retailers, importers, and distributors, generating 217 sales leads and more than Can$19.1 million in projected sales. Expo ANTAD continues to be an important platform for expanding Canada's presence in the Mexican market, strengthening trade relationships, and creating new export opportunities for Canadian agri-food businesses.
