On February 24, 2024, the Consulate General of Canada in Dubai hosted an outdoor family day promotion event at the Jumeirah Golf Estates to raise the profile of Canadian food and beverage products, bringing together over 500 members from the general public and local food service industry. Visitors had the opportunity to try maple taffy, and explore the various vendor kiosks showcasing Canadian food and beverages available in-market, such as beef, lobster and other packaged food products.

The event attracts the attention of agencies and businesses nationwide.

The Canada Pavilion and Canadian Pet Health Hybrid Pavilion had a significant presence at Pet Fair Asia (PFA). PFA was attended by 23 Canadian companies under the Canada Pavilion, in addition to several other Canadian brands who exhibited independently. The number of Canadian participants highlights Canada’s leading position as a top supplier of pet products to China.

Canada welcomed 27 companies to participate in Canada Food Expo (CFE) Japan. Participating Canadian companies showcased a wide variety of healthy and innovative processed food and beverage products to Japanese buyers in one-on-one meetings. Products included healthy snacks, sport hydration and nutrition products, dairy alternatives, dried fruit and juices, baking mixes, plant-based protein products, spices, sauces, and processed meat and seafood products.

Taste of Canada - DACH is an ongoing campaign to promote Canadian food and beverage products and show European consumers in the region the diverse culinary landscape Canada has to offer. The campaign began in 2020 and successfully expanded to all three German-speaking markets in the DACH region (that is, Austria, Germany and Switzerland) in November 2022.
