In 2023, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, along with the Embassy of Canada to Vietnam, undertook collaborations with food distribution partners such as Homefarm, Thủy Anh Fruit, Royal Seafood, TTC (Meaty Chopshop), Canadian Vita and Queenfoods, promoting Canadian food and educating Vietnamese consumers about all Canada has to offer.
The collaborative promotions occurred both online and offline, garnering significant attention from the press as well as positive responses from consumers across various food categories.
1. Canadian beef has received strong interest from a wide range of Vietnamese consumers
TTC Food and Beverage Joint Stock Company collaborated with Canada in organizing the 'Clean beef is raised with barley' event series. The events took place at Big C Hanoi on July 28, 2023, and at AEON MALL Tan Phu, Ho Chi Minh City, on September 18, 2023. The events attracted a large number of consumers who came to learn, shop, and taste Canadian beef.

In addition to in-store events, Canadian beef products have been well promoted across various online channels through a collaborative campaign with Homefarm - one of the reputable import product distribution chains in Vietnam. This campaign enlisted 11 Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and was spread across social media platforms such as Facebook and TikTok, garnering a total of 470,934 views. The online campaign has significantly contributed to Homefarm's daily revenue growth, averaging an increase of 51%.
Through collaborative campaigns with partners in Vietnam, Canadian beef products are becoming increasingly popular, offering Vietnamese consumers a wider range of options in international cuisine.
2. The collaborative events in partnership with Thuy Anh Fruits
To promote Canadian fruit products, the Government of Canada collaborated with Thuy Anh Fruits Co., Ltd. to organize a series of two events: the “Welcome to the Canadian Cherry Season” Event held on August 8, 2023, and the “Welcome to the Canadian Apple Season” running from November 27, 2023, to December 12, 2023. Both events garnered significant attention from a diverse audience. Canadian cherries and Ambrosia apples are highly favored by Vietnamese consumers for their superior quality and freshness, consistently finding their place in the shopping baskets of Vietnamese consumers.

3. The event "Hải Sản Canada - Tươi ngon từ biển sâu" in partnership with Royal Seafood Company
One of the prominent programs in the series of activities aimed at promoting Canadian food to Vietnamese consumers was the event "Canadian Seafood - Fresh Delights from the Deep Sea" held at An Nam Gourmet supermarket in Ho Chi Minh City on August 12, 2023. This event was a collaborative effort between the Government of Canada, the province of British Columbia, and Royal Seafood Company - a local partner involved in importing and distributing Canadian seafood to Vietnam.

"Tet Challenge" competition, one of the annual flagship activities of the Kitchen Lovers Community, has attracted thousands of social posts from members after each season. In the "Tet Challenge 2024", Canadian Ginseng was sponsored as the prize for the winner, with a total gift value of up to 31 million VND.
