Seafood Export Café – A stronger, more visible presence for Canadian seafood in South Korea

To reinforce the strong brand image of Canadian fish and seafood products and foster export diversification to the Korean market, the Embassy of Canada to the Republic of Korea in Seoul organized the Seafood Export Café, an initiative organized in collaboration with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, the Lobster Council of Canada and the British Columbia Trade and Investment Office in Seoul. 12 companies from across Canada participated in the Seafood Export Café which included a Canadian food promotion at CRAB52 restaurant. Canadian Ambassador, H.E. Tamara Mawhinney, and the Honourable Kent Smith, Nova Scotia's Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture, provided congratulatory remarks and highlighted Canada's sustainable and reliable supply of high-quality fish and seafood products. Featured Canadian products included live lobster, Dungeness crab, clams, cold-water shrimp, Nova Scotia wines and wild blueberry juice, and Tim Horton's Timbits.
