The Consulate General of Canada to India in Mumbai, in partnership with the Food Bloggers Association of India, presented a Canadian Easter Festival event across five high-end restaurants:
- Grand Hyatt Mumbai
- Radisson Blu International Airport
- Julius, Phoenix Palladium
- Fyole, Phoenix Palladium
- The Club Mumbai
Special menus were curated by the restaurant chefs which incorporated Canadian delicacies: maple syrup and cranberries. The versatility of these ingredients was showcased through the creation of flavourful and creative dishes, some of which included Canadian maple glazed pan seared fish; buttermilk pancakes with Canadian maple syrup; slow roast chicken with Canadian cranberry juice; quinoa and Canadian cranberry chicken salad; and more! They were 30 varieties of dishes developed for the Easter menu – all of which were a hit with the customers! By popular demand, many of these dishes will continue to be offered on the restaurants’ menus, so diners can still savour a Taste of Canada.

This event was amplified through local social media influencers who indulged in the delectable menu options and shared the experience with their legion of followers, with a reach of 2.8 million people through social media channels.
