On October 9, 2025, the Consulate of Canada in Dubai hosted a culinary showcase at Fairmont The Palm, spotlighting the versatility of Canadian ingredients. This event brought together over 50 key industry representatives, including procurement teams from hotels and restaurants, as well as chefs and culinary decision-makers from across the region.

Guests were treated to an inspired tasting experience by Fairmont chefs, including the executive chef from Fairmont the Palm and a guest chef from the iconic Fairmont Banff Springs. Together, they crafted a menu that celebrated Canadian excellence, featuring innovative applications of premium ingredients such as sustainably sourced seafood, world-renowned Canadian beef, and the uniquely sweet touch of our iconic maple syrup.

The evening not only showcased the quality and adaptability of Canadian products in international cuisine, but also reinforced Canada's commitment to culinary innovation and global partnerships.
